First, the driver chip
The core of the IC driving power supply is the IC, and the quality of the IC directly affects the entire power supply. The IC on the LED power supply is refused to be polished so that the lamp manufacturers can understand the IC solution and the cost of the driver, so that they can purchase power products at reasonable prices.
Second, the transformer
The control chip can be regarded as the brain center of the power supply, and the transformer that determines the power and temperature resistance is the transformer. The transformer is responsible for completing "AC-Magnetic-DC", and the energy overload will saturate the bomber. The core of the transformer is the magnetic core and the wire package.

Third, electrolytic capacitors and chip ceramic capacitors
The quality and life requirements of the input electrolytic capacitors may be well known, and everyone attaches great importance to them. But everyone often ignores the quality requirements of the output capacitor. In fact, the life of the output capacitor has a great impact on the life of the power supply. The output terminal has a switching frequency of up to 60,000 times per second, which causes the parasitic resistance of the capacitor to heat up and produce scale-like substances. Finally, the electrolyte heats up and explodes. Ceramic capacitors: The materials are divided into X7R, X5R and Y5V, and the actual capacitance value of Y5V can only reach the actual 1/10, and the nominal capacitance value only refers to working at 0 volts. Therefore, this tiny chip resistor and poor selection will also lead to cost differences and greatly shorten the life of the power supply.
Fourth, the circuit design and welding process of power products
Judgment of design advantages and disadvantages: Aside from the professional perspective, it can be distinguished by some intuitive methods, such as neat, generous, orderly, and bright and straightforward components. A good engineer will not make a messy design. As for flying leads and adding components by hand, it is a manifestation of a serious lack of technical power. Welding process: manual welding and wave soldering process. As we all know, the quality of wave soldering by mechanized production is definitely better than manual welding. At present, the flashing phenomenon of lamps during a period of use is basically caused by the power supply or the lamp beads. The product's false solder test is extremely difficult to pass the aging test, so you must rely on AOI to detect the quality of the power supply chip.
Fifth, batch testing of aging racks and high-temperature aging rooms for power products
Even the best power products controlled by materials and production processes still need to detect aging. It is difficult to control the incoming inspection of electronic components and transformers. Only through the aging of the entire batch of power supplies and high-temperature sampling in high-temperature rooms, can we check the quality stability of this batch of power supplies and whether the materials have potential safety hazards.

Symptoms and solutions of bad led driver:
The normal service life of the led lamp is 50,000 to 80,000 hours. Basically, there is no broken lamp. Generally, the drive is broken. You can try to directly connect the matching power source to see if it can be turned on. As long as one of the lights is on, your drive is broken.
Completely off: a certain lamp bead is broken; the power supply may also be broken; flashing and flashing: the lamp bead's gold wire is soldered incorrectly, resulting in poor contact; the power supply is unstable; If there is a power supply, change the power supply directly.
The most reliable judgment is to use a multimeter to measure the output voltage of the driver. If the test value is the same as the one marked above, the driver is good. Otherwise, the drive is broken.
From the appearance point of view, if the LED lamp bead is broken, there will be a small black spot on it. Generally speaking, the lamp bead is stubborn, and the entire lamp panel must be inserted and replaced. However, strictly speaking, the failure of the lamp beads does not mean that the driver must be good, but the probability of a single lamp bead being damaged is relatively high. To accurately judge, you can only use an instrument to test.
Method 1: Use the multimeter's diode test gear to test each LED diode (forward, LED lights up. Reverse, not light)
Method 2: Most LED lights have a rechargeable battery inside, and the battery powers the LED lights. Use a multimeter to measure this battery (usually 4 ~ 6V). You can identify the bad.
Method 3: When there is no multimeter, unplug the LED light power cord! !! !! Cut the battery cable with scissors! !! !! Connect other electrical appliances. If there are no other electrical appliances, use one of the battery cables to quickly touch the other pole to see if there is a "spark" or "snap" sound. If so, it turns out that the LED light is broken. Special reminder, pay attention to safety! Be sure to use this method after unplugging the power cord of the LED light.
